ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REMINDERS

UCU (University and College Union) Strike Action: 

Please note, the studio staff will not be striking, your studio plan will not be impacted.

Your  CCS Task Two tutors who are members of the University College Union (UCU), may be participating in STRIKE ACTION called by the UCU on 5 days in December – Weds 2 Dec, Mon 7 Dec, Thurs 10 Dec, Tues 15 Dec and Weds 16 Dec

– Please complete the Module Evaluation questionnaire for Modules AGP400 and AGP401 (that have been emailed), your feedback and suggestions helps us to improve the course. We value your feedback (thanks). Deadline Monday 7th December

– Continue to digitise all your development work i.e photographing / scanning pages from your sketchbooks for inclusion into your AGP400 PDF Portfolio (along with final project outcomes, research and critical self reflection for each project).

– IMPORTANT: Those interested in advanced screen-printing induction with Chris Hunt

There is limited availabilty for 8 Graphics students and 8 Illustration students to have inductions in the Print Room with Chris Hunt to produce screen-prints using photo-emulsion.

Could those students who are interested please email Simon Emery.  S.Emery@brighton.ac.uk. with a jpeg/s of your screen-prints produced for the Opposing Forces project (using paper stencils) along with a paragraph explaining why you wish to undetrake the induction. (When sending images of your screenprints please reduce the jpeg file size eg to 1MB as large files will clog the system).

The staff team will then select 8 Graphics students to undertake the induction with Chris.
